Balynda is a Raleigh native and has been in the world of dogs all of her life. She began early on showing her family’s Australian Terriers in conformation. From there she went into competitive obedience where she took her two toy poodles to the top of the obedience charts. She has judged, competed in and taught in many other dog sports from dock diving, lure coursing and terrier racing to Fast CAT, tracking and nose work. With all of this experience, she knew when she found a program to teach her dog to track for lost pets she was up to the challenge and she had just the dog that needed a job... Bravo
Bravo is a small dog with a big heart. He was brought into this world on Oct 29, 2014, one of seven puppies in the litter. Shannon, my Case Manager, and I own Bravo’s mom and were there the second he was born. From the start, he was a bit of a trouble maker, and by the age of 2 we realized he really needed a job. He has found it, and not only is he good at it - he loves it! Bravo is trained as a MAR search dog and graduated November 2019. He has been tracking lost pets ever since that day. He is a hero in our eyes, and hopefully in the eyes of all the pets and families he has helped.
Shannon, has been with Bravo and me since the beginning, as my best friend and case manager on this endeavor. Starting with her father's business located in Raleigh, Shannon has had her hand in a number of businesses over the years, working hard to make each a success. I quickly realized that finding missing pets was not a one man job, Shannon was there to step in and help keep BravoK911 on the road to success.
